In 2011, we opened the doors of RocketSpace with a mission to provide velocity - speed and direction - to the world’s top innovators because they are the future. Our innovation platform offers a suite of services to startups, corporate leaders, investors, and other innovation partners seeking to build, scale, and finance innovation. RocketSpace’s curated technology campus offering is a critical pillar of our platform.
Today, there are a myriad of coworking options available and it is important to be able to offer the highest quality of office environment, amenities, and growth services to build for a thriving technology community. As in the past, RocketSpace has always sought to find the best home for our communities and this transition is in the same spirit. Therefore, we have made the decision to officially move our headquarters to our flagship campus at 123 Mission St. and exit our 180 Sansome St. campus on Friday, December 14th, 2018. For our 180 Sansome St. members, we will provide them with resources for a smooth transition.
Last year, we built the new 123 Mission St. campus and it will now serve as the official RocketSpace home in San Francisco for our global ecosystem of innovators. In the future, RocketSpace will continue to expand our global campus footprint in addition to our world-class London campus that houses nearly 1,000 startup members. This requires a substantial amount of capital investment and a close partnership with real estate owners, and RocketSpace will move forward by utilizing management operating contracts which offer strong benefits to both owners and operators.
As RocketSpace continues to evolve and grow our innovation platform to provide the best services possible, we thank our startups (on campus and beyond), corporate clients, investors, and other valued partners for coming along with us on our adventure as entrepreneurs and for allowing us to be a part of yours.
Boldly go.
