Five years ago, we opened RocketSpace with 30 desks and high hopes of building a unique ecosystem for tech entrepreneurs. By year two, we had hundreds of desks and welcomed members like Uber’s founders and Spotify’s first U.S. team. Together, with our members, we’ve built an amazing ecosystem inside our four walls and beyond.
Our first five years were committed to creating the foundation or “science” behind RocketSpace and the next five will be all about growth. This starts with our campus, which will quickly become campuses. Early in 2017, we will open a London campus, designed specifically for our members: high-growth tech startups. Our members and business are already international, so the new campus will offer a physical presence in a major tech hub abroad. For members, this means that they’ll have a home away from San Francisco and additional access to our community and services.
This first international campus is a first step toward our goal of building an ecosystem of the best technology startups across a global network of campuses.
Returning to London is a dream come true and I hope you’ll join us there.
