Release of the Fintech Delivery Panel's Onboarding Guidelines for Fintechs

Partnerships between fintechs and incumbent banks can bring a lot of value to customers and to both parties involved. Unfortunately, they are often difficult to navigate for fintech companies and hugely time-consuming.

HM Treasury's Fintech Delivery Panel, run by Tech Nation, has been working on removing as much friction as possible from the onboarding and partnering process. It has enlisted the help of the Business Standards Institution to develop a set of onboarding guidelines, targetted at fintech companies and any other companies wanting to work together with them.

The guidelines have been drafted with this goal in mind: to make it simpler and faster to enter into a partnership with a large incumbent bank.
