Head of 500 Startups Greater China
Partner at 500 Mobile Collective Fund
In 2017, founders raised roughly $3.7 billion with more than 200 tokens via initial coin offerings (ICO). The total cryptocurrency market capitalization exceeded $500 billion in December 2017, and the market is still in its infancy!
Cryptocurrencies and companies built on blockchains are not only likely here to stay, but are heading towards becoming a common investment asset class and value transfer vehicle. On February 13, we're pleased to host Edith Yeung — thought leader and early-stage investor with 500 Startups. Edith will draw from her experience investing in ICO to share best practices for launching an ICO plus supportive case studies.
You will learn about:
- Planning (Token, Whitepaper, Website, Communication, etc)
- What happens before the ICO
- What to expect after your token sale
- Running the project post-ICO
- Best practices on what to do and what not to do
As always, we will open the discussion up to the audience. Please bring your questions for Edith!
5:30 - 6:00 pm | Happy (Half) Hour
6:00 - 6:30 pm | ICO 101
6:30 - 7:00 pm | Audience Q&A
7:00 - 7:30 pm | Networking
By registering for this event, you agree that you may be contacted by RocketSpace for future events and announcements. Your details will never be shared with third parties. Attendees must be 21+.
