Competition to provide similar consulting services is rapidly increasing, causing Mizuho to provide new innovative solutions to their clients to remain relevant.
RocketSpace Solution
The number of patients with dementia in Japan is expected to increase from 4.62 million to 7 million in 2025. In other words, 1 out of 5 people aged 65 and over are expected to suffer from dementia.
With the health industry being one of the major verticals Mizuho serves, RocketSpace led Mizuho through an opportunity identification engagement of new technologies and potential partners tackling dementia.
MyndYou Partnership
Through the Landscape and Discovery Engagement, RocketSpace identified MyndYou, a startup venture with an AI-based platform that empowers practitioners to deliver personalized and data-driven cognitive care to seniors.
Once identified, RocketSpace facilitated the go-to-market partnership between MyndYou and Mizuho.
Results: Mizuho + MyndYou
Mizuho Information & Research and MyndYou has signed a partnership agreement which aims to commercialize the systems and services originally developed by MyndYou in Japan and sell to Mizuho's customers. Mizuho is currently in the process of testing out MyndYou in 5 therapist locations in Japan.
If results from trials are positive, the plan is to launch the service in 2020 in multiple therapist locations for an expected revenue of ¥10 million sales per month.The goal is to ultimately launch the product throughout Japan by 2023 for an estimated revenue of ¥250 million sales per month or ¥3 Billion annually.
